Takealot.com shocking service!!

I ordered and paid for a magimix through Takealot, the delivery time was going to be 5-7 days. I received notification that the delivery was on the way and would be delivered before 5pm. I made plans to stay at home to receive delivery, I was notified late afternoon that the parcel was damaged in transit and was returned to the warehouse and new order would be placed. A month down the line I have manged to find a phone number for Takealot (nothing on their website!!!) and I spoke to Melissa. Melissa told me that no new order had been placed and asked if I would like them to order a replacement which will take a further 5-7 days!!!!! I queried what would have happened if I had not manged to contact them and Melissa's answer was "nothing I would not have received the product that I had paid for"!!!!! I use this mixer for work and have been hugely inconvenienced waiting a month for this appliance. I asked whether they could speed up the delivery by collecting it from their supplier as it was their error but was told point blank that this could not be done and do I still want to place the order!!!!!
