Takealot.com selling used/display products as new

I used to be a very loyal Takealot.com customer, but had a very bad experience recently. Decided to buy the Ecoflow River 2 Power station based on the good reviews and a good price offered by Takealot at the time. Huge was my disappointment when I opened the box a couple of days after it was delivered and found it was used, most probably as a display unit in a store. It looked old/used with a HUGE white sticker with a number on it that I still haven't been able to remove. Unfortunately I didn't open the product on the day it was delivered, ironically at the time load shedding was much less so didn't need it immediately. Couple of days after opening I logged a return, Takealot came back saying it was outside the 10 day return policy so not able to refund me. Product in working condition but very disappointed in receiving an OLD/USED item. This should clearly been stated on the product description if not a new product! Never experienced this from them before, wanted to warn unsuspecting customers.
