Takealot.com order

I made a purchase at takealot.com on the 29th of November 2019, paid immediately and was told delivery will be made in the 12th of December. Today it is the 25th of December and i still don't have my parcel. When I enquire, it's only then they tell me that the driver got hijacked so if i had not asked i was not going to be informed and i would have paid for nothing as they were only reviewing and replacing my order now. They do not communicate or apologise for the inconvenience. I have not seen such incompetence.
