Takealot.com loose my R15000-00 phone...

I have already posted a review about this complaint and have not heard back from takealot.com since that review 2 weeks ago, so my query is still unresolved and I will write another review...

I returned a defective cell phone to takealot.com that I bought from them in August of this year. The phone just stopped working and I merely asked for a replacement of the device.

Their collection team picked up the phone 3 weeks ago from my house, I showed the driver the phone inside the box, he took a photo of it and signed on his cell phone that he had collected the device.

3 days later I recieve an email telling me they recieved an empty box with no phone at their warehouse...It is now 3 weeks later and the phone is still missing. They simply tell me they are busy with an investigation on the whereabouts of the phone.... Never mind me, I am just the customer, who spent R15,000-00 on the phone... I must wait for their internal investigation to take place before I can get a replacement or at the very least my money back...

I am absolutely shocked at the service levels of what I always regarded as an incredible organisation... Not one person has returned my call when they say they will, not one manager has called me... I am just left in the dark while this ridiculous company does their internal investigation...

Well done on abiding to TCF... you are doing a sterling job.... NOT...
