TAKEALOT.COM IS A WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT

I've had plenty of bad service from Takealot over the years and i have turned to other websites now that Takealot isn't the only online store now. The only reason i was forced to go back to Takealot is the fact that I was given a coupon for the webiste, if i could have used to coupon to buy a voucher for another website like Loot or Raru i would have done so because after all the times i bought from them i have never experienced such issues. I purchased an item for R450 and for the remainder of my coupon I decided to just get anything for R50. After about a week i get an email stating that my headsets I have ordered were cancelled because the supplier couldn't supply them anymore, why even have the option to purchase something without confirming with the supplier?? especially with such a big company? this is utterly disgraceful! This happened before as well! putting up stuff on the website and then failing to fall through! and what makes it worse is that the JHB warehouse has stock of the headset for R495 from another supplier so i told them to cancel the item i had for R50 so it would cover the full amount of the new headset but what happens? they can't cancel the order! even though the damn product isn't even shipped yet! So i asked the agent if Takealot could just do such a small and simple thing as cover me for the extra R45 for all this hassle and guess what? Takealot NOT GIVING A **** ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE couldn't cover me for damn R45?? like really? this is just pathetic honestly! I finally opened my eyes when it comes to Takealot and i will never recommend this site to anyone else, i will go out of my way to make sure people know this.
