Takealot.com has lost its flare very ***********

If you want to make a purchase for anything rather go in-store than order through takealot. Their delivery times are rediculous and their support agents make promises they cannot fullfill, I had a total of 21 parcels varying in size from an air fryer to a tv stand kind of size difference. It was promised to be delivered on Fri 26 January 2024 but failed because one Item that was "instock" at the time of payment had not arrived at the courier facility while the other 20 had arrived and all parcels had supposedly arrived but couldn't be dispatched because of that one item. When i contacted support I was promised a prompt delivery the following day of which it Never happened because "the courier facility is not operating at the said weekend" but does operate other weekends and my Parcels were scheduled for Monday 29th instead. If takealot cannot handle large orders why bother being an online store. That's really unacceptable and wouldn't recommend someone go through the same ordeal of anxiously waiting for parcels that are not arriving. So think twice before purchasing from takealot.com or stay away for your own peace. Regards. A Very UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER. My day has been completely ruined by incompetence
