Takealot.com delivery

The other day I paid for expedited delivery on a parcel. It was to be received on Monday. The parcel was only delivered on Tuesday afternoon. No contact or update was given to me to inform me about the delays on the package or issues with the shipping address etc.

When the order finally arrived I got no apology regarding the delay which I guess is fine in a degenerate world, however, I was not even informed about any sort of compensation on the extra I paid for faster service and still it came delayed with no refund for not being able to deliver on their own promise.

Another order which on their own discretion would have been delivered on Wednesday has once again still not arrived, bear in mind it left Bryanston depot at 06:46 am yesterday morning, which is a short jog down the road from where I'm located. Someone contacted me in the afternoon informing me to come and collect my order. All only to discover that he was in Corlett dr. In Bramley and he insisted I messed up my address, bear in mind this is the same address I only received orders on prior as little as just 1 day ago. On me confirming that my delivery address details were indeed correct and not in Corlett Dr. Bramley but in 2 Payne Road, Corner Main Office Bryanston the man asked if I was the order for Bramley or for Bryanston. Once I confirmed which order I was he hang up and the rest is a mystery.

Still waiting to receive that order, but it's the confusion and level of professionalism as well as integrity of this local business that has been damaged severely.
