Takealot.com behaves *********ly

Over the last month or so I bought a Neoniq full swivel tv bracket from Takealot.com

I collected the bracket from Takealot in Montague Gardens and on closer inspection found it was defective! I immediately brought this to Takealot's attention and wanted them to make contact with the supplier to enquire why they would sell defective items?

Instead Takealot bought my silence by selling me a slightly more expensive tv bracket.

When that arrived I found another defect and summarily returned the item in person to Takealot and was promised a R305.00 refund.

Now Takealot are trying to refund me R56.00 !!!!

Takealot sent me communication that includes this specific sentence,

"We've therefore credited your Takealot.comaccount with the value of the cancelled item."

That value was R305.00

I was better off with the "defective" bracket as apposed to R56.00 but I was still mislead and **** to!!

Very ********* behaviour on Takealot's part if you ask me.
