I use takealot often because I expect convenience, but their service delivery has become really poor. Some of the items you add to the cart will either just become unavailable for delivery or the price will increase. Then there are several delivery issues. You can't track your delivery, there is a tracking button on the app but it doesn't show you where your delivery is, so it is absolutely useless, you will receive a message saying that your delivery will commence before 5pm, but then the delivery guy will only arrive after 6pm, I have received some of my orders at 7pm twice, and luckily this was for deliveries to my home address. You can't change the delivery address which is a real problem. I work at the office but often have to work from home, it is so difficult to try and guess when I will be where in order to receive my goods, and no way to communicate with Takealot in that instance. Then the packaging. Why in the love of the universe do they have to put every item in separate boxes? I would order three items and receive them in three separate boxes, small items that can easily fit into one box. So echo friendly, just saying.
