Takealot.com

I recently bought a pair of Sneakers from Takealot! which were over R400 (not even 3 months old) After wearing them once the sneaker split across the top and part of the material chipped off from the crack (cheaply made-( I went to Takealot returns & collections and returned the pair of sneakers and e-mailed them advising of the return! This was their reply: After carefully reviewing your claim, we would like to reiterate that our returns policy, in cases of defect or damage, does not cover items that are damaged due to user handling or wear. As the product shows visible user-induced damage, it falls outside of our warranty coverage (WHAT????) So now I sit here complaining - I have no Sneakers and NO REFUND!!!! THIS IS AN EXCUSE ON THEIR BEHALF TO NOT REFUND THEIR INFERIOR QUALITY GOODS!!
