Takealot: You lost me as a customer

I have been a Takealot customer for many years but today they just lost me as a customer. I ordered a DI Box and Microphone screens for same day delivery and paid R75 delivery fee. What I did not know is that Takealot can unilaterally cancel any item in your order without even informing you and that's what they did with the microphone screens and left me in a sticky situation.

Question: Who orders an item for same day delivery if they don't need it urgently? The driver delivered after 17:00, which means I have no place to rush and buy the windscreens anywhere now. To compound my troubles, my refund will take 3-5 days, can you imagine???

1. I don't have the item, 2. I am out of that money that I need to buy the screens somewhere else. 3. I paid R75 to have an item delivered that was not delivered. 4. Takealot is a dictator and can just cancel your order without informing you, leaving you in a mess and financially "ruined"

I am done with Takealot, as soon as my refund clears, I will be deleting my account
