TAKEALOT - YES TAKE A LOT OF TIME AND PROVIDE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE !

Just wondering how Takealot understands or intercepts the word Customer Service and the word urgent? I ordered a printer and cable and happy to say the printer arrived on said delivery date but alas no cable instead we were delivered someone else's mask and a pair of scissors!! Have "spoke" to two customer service agents. First agent told me I cannot receive my cable, which a crucial part of how the printer actually works!!!! until the incorrect delivery is returned. O and by the way we need the printer to do home schooling, for its not actually for fun and games! ***!! Your mistaken and I must wait to get my correct item. Fine! I accepted it. I was told it would be collected the next day. Wed right? Well today is Sat and still no one has collected or delivered. The second agent told me on Thursday that I did have to wait, so when yesterday it was still not collected I asked why my cable couldn't be delivered and the incorrect parcel collect. A light bulb went on and I was told that could be done but were just awaiting feedback and my query was marked as Urgent. I have never heard such ****. It's now Sat and still nothing delivered or collected. When I queried this am they still waiting feedbac**** Seriously Takealot you have no clue! If "Urgent" takes this long what happens is something is not Urgent!!! Seriously not impressed at all.

Well today is now Tuesday (the following week) and after one excuse after the next the parcel was collected but not without a fight as the driver refused the take the parcel as it wasn't "the cable" he was supposed to collect !!! What frickin cable - no cable was delivered.

I am now beyond angry with Takealot – your driver was just here and refused to take the parcel back as he was supposed to pick up a cable!!!! Can Takealot not even get a collection right!

The driver is supposed to collect the incorrectly delivered products – what was the point of me sending the picture of the incorrect parcel in the first place ???? You clearly have not looked into anything as you would know that a cable was never received and there is no reason to evaluate it to issue a new cable (the original cable was never delivered to me) !!!

The driver then made me call the branch – sorry he should have used his phone to call and I landed up speaking to Tikkie who told me she is just the branch manager and only after having a very angry conversation with her did she agree to take back the parcel and she would send it to Kempton Park and then doesn’t know what happens from there !!

I then asked for a Takelot number and now I am waiting on the line for Mr Delivery to try and help – surprise surprise – no answer.

All this stress for one cable – it’s taken a week for Takealot to get the collection done (after being told it was going to be collected the next day) and even that is a complete mess – now I need to wait another 7 – 10 days to receive my cable – due to an error on your part – what do you need to check when the product comes back – Takealot sent the wrong parcel – it is as simple as that.

Your stock standard answers are a joke !!!

It will probably would have been easier for me to order a new cable and the asked for a refund - What a joke !

Wonder who will reply to me next ???

So found other numbers to call only to find out the phone have been deactivated !!! Who does that !!! I posted on Facebook my frustrations - no response to that so I'm not expecting much from this either but at least I'll get my frustations out and I'm going to go out now to try and find a cable to I can at least let me child be able to complete his school work appropriately !

O now it looks like Takealot isn't on Hello Peter - clearly they are too arrogant to give a **** about customers - The one telephone number says if you have any driver incident, compliments or suggestions please call..... WHAT ABOUT COMPLAINTS ! NO email address available either
