Takealot won't replace items.

Bought a monitor from Takealot and when it arrived and I set it up, I noticed immediately that there were dead pixels. The monitor was damaged and it was incredibly noticeable. So I sent in for a replacement and they came to collect the monitor. They then told me that I would not receive a replacement and refunded the amount. So I wondered why this was done instead of replacing the monitor. I went to check and noticed the price had increased by about R104.00.

My issue is this, I bought a monitor from Takealot, if they deliver it and it is damaged or broken, it is their responsibility to replace it. Not make me fork out more money because it was damaged or broken. I bought an item, I should get that item in working condition. Simple as that.
