Takealot - what was delivered was not what I ordered

Placed an order with them for two garden sets - which was a gift to my mother that does not stay close to me. On delivery my mother opened the sets, not knowing exactly what I ordered. She contacted me to thank me for the gift, but also to ask me to report to Takealot that one of the chairs was *****ed and cannot be assembled. Only when she shared the photo of the chair I realized that it was not what I ordered. Requested a return there after. The items was collected, but now they hide behind their return policy - cannot accept the items as it was opened. Awaiting for the wrong stuff to be delivered again. Something that should have been special moment has turned into disaster. Please think twice before using Takealot.
