Takealot warranties worth nothing!

Do NOT believe ratings of products on Takealot. They are not the true reflection of customer's real experiences.

I bought a product from them. When I received I had it fitted it to my car. When driving it the first time after fitment I found that it rattled continuously. On inspection I found that there seems to be parts missing from it. I contacted the supplier, they referred me back to Takealot. Takealot just want to book a collect and return. I explained to them that it is fitted already. I was referred back to supplier. They said they can only help me if I come to Cape Town. Really? Drive all the way to Cape Town?

So spoke to Takealot again and said if I can only get missing or correct parts I will have it repaired at my own cost. So they closed the complaint and marked it resolved. It was not!

So here I am sitting with a product with a warranty as advertised but Takealot say it is by the supplier and the supplier say they only fulfil the orders and the warranty is by Takealot.

I did a temporary fix as the rattle was driving me nuts, very easy fix with the right parts. If only I can get either of the parties to listen and talk to me????
