Takealot wants to ensure you spend your refunds under their restrictions
I had purchased a number of items with fire sale.As I have subscription I had a 10% voucher too.only 1 item was returned for a refund as it's not suitable.Then Takealot's customer services has audacity to give a restricted voucher that is not even for a month!!!Different thing if they had a suitable item I could purchase but they don't.Requested that they refund to bank account instead of me forking out more money and blatant refusal.There isn't even an offer to remove the restricted expiration date!!!!Unbelievable service.

"Where you have used a Percentage Coupon to pay for an order, and you or Takealot later cancels your order (or part thereof) prior to delivery of the relevant product(s), or you log a return of one or more products for a credit in accordance with the Returns Policy, the value of the discount received using the Percentage Coupon will be deducted off the purchase price of the cancelled or returned product(s) (as applicable), and we will credit your account for the balance, if any (or refund you if that is your preference). We will also provide you with a replacement Fixed Coupon of the same value as the discount received using the original Percentage Coupon. "Here it clearly states the Returned item,not the full purchase prices discounts.So customer service Xolile and Herschelle are applying their own rules and conditions.
