Takealot - Voucher Query

Takealot Voucher Query - #***8. I am slightly taken aback by the non chalant manner in which my query with takealot was so called resolved. I sent a query and got a very quick reply basically informing me that i could not behelped and got sent a link referring me to the voucher T's&C's. clearly the query was not "looked at on merit" See copy of query emailed below. My reply to their response was not acknowledged. Also do Takealot not refund the person who bought the voucher, since money was actually paid over to Takealot for the voucher.

Any further info you can give us ...: VOUCHER R500.00 NUMBER T22TU-ANPMY-WYHBZ-F9M6M. GOOD MORNING, PLEASE! CAN YOU HELP ME. MY DAUGHTER FOUND AN OLD TAKE-ALOT GIFT VOUCHER SHE RECEIVED FOR HER BIRTHDAY. THE VOUCHER WAS FROM HER AUNTY. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THIS VOUCHER WAS GIVEN 2017!! I HAVE LOOKED ON MY ORDER HISTORY AND AT PREVIOUS INVOICES AND CAN'T FIND THAT IT WAS EVER USED. IS THERE ANY WAY TO "RE-INSTATE" THIS AND I DO UNDERSTAND THAT IT HAS EXPIRED BUT PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP. THANK YOU AMANDA ***

Pathetic if you ask me, so just in principle will not be using Takealot
