Takealot Voucher issue

I recieves a gift voucher, when I tried to use it within 10min of receiving it , it said expired. When querying the issue they said it expired, why give a voucher if yiu cannot use it, their support staff Nabeelah not very helpful as well, why even call if you have no solution
