Takealot - Useless and Deplorable

Takealot is useless and absolutely deplorable.

Below is my email sent to them this morning, Monday 10 March at 9:37am.

With all due respect.

After spending 10 minutes on the phone with you, you still try and tell me how collections work?

I know how collections work, you had my profile open in front of you. I have been a TakeALot customer for ovet 11 years, I think I know it works by now.

THIS frustrates me even more!

Please get a senior manager to attend to my matter as we are clearly going in circles here.

I logged two returns on 7 March, the item I want was on special for R1500. Today is 10 March, you still have not bothered to collect any of my two returns. In the meantime the item I want has gone up to R2000. So where am I going to find the that R500 for the difference? This is not a me issue. This is a TakeALot issue. So I suggest you get your manager or someone in a senior position to call me to come up with a solution.

This is now the second air fryer I returned to you. Both times the items arrive scratched, damaged and dented. Not to mention instead of it being advertised as a 12 litre, it's bearly 7.5 litres. So you do the math.

I cannot really complain about Takealot's terrible service, but rather the lack thereof. You are really making it easy for Amazon to take all your clientele. So best Takealot do all you can do to try and keep the customers you have left and step up.

Treat this as urgent.
