Takealot - Unreliable, inconveniant, unhelpful, unproffessional

<p>I place an order with Takealot on the 25/11/2016</p> <p>Delivery date was the 13/12, on the 12/12 @ 18.29 I received an email to say that the order is delayed</p> <p>for a further 5-7 working days.</p> <p>I phoned the Takealot help desk, to speak to an unhelpful agent. Eventually had to cancel my order as they now told me that the the goods I ordered was not in stock and no date could be provided as to when delivery will be done.</p> <p>the reason I placed an order with Takealot is for the "online shopping convenience" they provide.</p> <p>only to find out if I had gone to a store I would not be experiencing this problem at this time of the year.</p> <p>How can you advise me so late of the status of the delivery and then tell me that the supplier is out of stock only when I call? This to me shows that Takealot really does not care about their customers or care our shopping experience or if we are getting what we want and with good service.</p> <p> </p>
