Takealot unjustifiable denial of a return

I often used Takealot and have bought many products through them. I always had good service from them. When ever I returned something it was always justifiable and they always responded promptly and friendly. This is the first time they have taken an disinterested attitude towards my reason for returning. They did not enter into discussion. As an engineer I am not going to talk nonsense to them and nor will I have the "wool pulled over my eyes". I was on the point of buying a number of expensive items for a project from Takealot, but because of their action I cannot take the risk of having à problem arise and Takealot make a repeat performance and I lose thousands of Rands. Unless they honour their word, and show they have sensible people in their test department, I will never buy from them again and will discourage others because of the risk. When a client buys a batch of products and some are not working according to specification or claims, then the supplier cannot just test one or two of the batch. They have to test ALL, AND be honest about their findings. If I detect dishonesty I withdraw from doing business with such a company.
