Takealot - *****ulent and inefficient

I’ve had the most awful experience with Takealot. For year I’ve supported them. Recently I ordered two sets of door hinges and the one pair was correct, the other was entirely the wrong style. I returned the order explaining the issue and asking for the right one to be sent again. They sent me the wrong one back again. I returned it and asked for a refund, they declined my refund. I asked for someone to call me and days later I finally heard from customer service. I explained my situation only to be told that the package was faulty and that they would never be able to get the right hinge to me. I explained that if one set doesn’t work, I can’t use the other set - so the entire order would need to be refunded. She agreed on the phone and asked me to return both sets. I have since done this and my return has been declined - AGAIN! Despite them promising on the phone to resolve and refund. Their ticketing system is a nightmare. They are happy to take my money but don’t apply any logic or interest when it comes to escalations and returns. I have been passed around from pillar to post and no one with any eduction seems to be handling my issues. A nightmare of a situation which has cost my building project time and money.
