Takealot *******?

I am absolutely disgusted at the customer service of Takealot.

I ordered and received a pair of shoes from Takealot on 24 December. Upon opening the box I noted the shoes were dirty. The size was so small I couldn’t get my feet into them let alone walk in them. Within hours I logged a return and handed them in at the warehouse on 26 December. Takealot is refusing to refund me because they claim it is evident the shoes were used. Despite that I have two eye witnesses who can confirm the condition the shoes arrived in.

Not only are they not refunding me, they also haven’t returned the shoes to me.

I have been fighting since the 26th for action to be taken. I have spoken to every person in the customer service department. They all promise to get back to you but they don’t. The service has been appalling. And as for keeping my money and the product, doesn’t that constitute *****ing?

I have been a loyal customer for years but I will no longer purchase anything from Takealot after this complete and utter lack of service and professionalism.
