Takealot Theives

Never trust a Takealot guarantee. I purchased a trampoline from Bezos with a 6 month guarantee. After using for a month the tension was uneven. I returned it in it's packaging. I was then sent photos of wear, bear in mind the photos they sent were so ridiculous, a simple wipe would have removed the marks and some of the pictures were of the upright ba for balance which I never even removed from the plastic as I never used it!!! They responded that they can't refund me because it's used???? What else does a guarantee mean? Of course it was used, it was found to be substandard and it was returned. That's how guarantees work. I fought them, they said they would escalate it but came back and said I will need to fight the manufacturer. I asked for the contact details and they said they don't give the suppliers contact information???? I then said they must just return the stupid useless thing and I would try make my own way and try find a way on my own to retrieve my losses. I told them to return it to the depot I collected and returned it. Not a word for a couple of weeks I was waiting for notification.

So I literally got no help, no details of the source so I could try get help from them and then they just take it in themselves to destroy the purchase.... Which we all know means they resell it to the folk that by Takealot returns. Theives! Be very careful
