Takealot the master Racketeering Company

It is time to expose Takealot, an online buying ****. It is filled with sellers who sell suspect products, and you cannot rate the buying experience, the quality of the delivered product, or rate the supplier's quality. Your review will enter this rejection queue automatically if you award one star.

These ************ sellers get protection from their racket master with review policies limited to "Thank you for informing us about the inaccurate product description. However, your review needs to be related to your product experience" and other excuses. So, when buying an appliance for R15k, the box came unsealed, showing signs of rough handling, multiple openings, and repackaging efforts, with bubbles in the protective film. So, all is screaming demo or display product sold as new, but definitely not fresh!

So, why is it so difficult for Takealot to implement this? I will add that change in an hour or two. The only reason for the two stars in this rating is that they promptly processed the return and refund.

However, this can be avoided by: 1. Add a function to Rate the supplier so that buyers can see how credible the seller is or if they can be trusted with a "fresh" product 2. Add a function to rate the quality of the delivery process to improve warehousing and shipping. Is shrink wrapping of the product by the seller too much to ask for on high-end items? 3. Add a function to ask the supplier a question. My gosh, even AliExpress can do this. At least you can ask if the product is fresh or sealed.

So, the returns will remain unless that is part of their business model, and they will charge their suppliers on both sides.

The appliance in question is a Delonghi coffee machine. I will post that review under their brand name. However, Takealot lists the brand name, so it is sometimes difficult to understand who the real seller is.
