Takealot terrible customer service

Takealot broader issue: Takealot's escalating delivery errors and lack of quality control are deeply concerning. Despite numerous negative reviews about suppliers and products, they remain available online, raising serious questions about their vetting process.

My Ordeal with a Missing Playpen: Last year, I ordered a baby playpen that arrived with missing parts. Returning it was a nightmare. Not only was the return declined, but I received an incorrect product in its place. My attempts to resolve this through multiple phone calls were met with laughter from one consultant. One call even resulted in the return being logged against an entirely different, long-ago purchase.

A Pickup Point Fiasco: Seeking help at a pickup point was fruitless. Finally, I secured a collection appointment for January 3rd, only to be left waiting with no one showing up. To add insult to injury, I received an email at 7pm cancelling the appointment and requiring me to start the process all over again.

Driven to Desperation: After countless conversations with unhelpful consultants, I'm at my wit's end. Today, I'm driving to their warehouse in a desperate attempt to get this resolved.
