Takealot: Targus Campus Laptop Backpack epic customer fail

On the 20 Oct 2015 i ordered a new Targus laptop backpack through Takealot, on the 18th Oct 2016 the shoulder strap broke at the plastic clip, i lodged a return on the item knowing it carries a 3 year manuafactures warranty. I recieved the return request number: RRN-1e76-1596

These are a list of responses i have recieved to date:

On the 02/11/2016 i recieved a response from Asanda Mngadi stating that there is visible user damage to your item which voids the warranty. Bag clip is broken. HELLO TAKEALOT! THATS WHY I RETRUNED THE ITEM!

Later the same day Faith Nyawose responded that a team is reveiwing and will again,

On the 03/11/2016 Faith Nyawose responded with the ffg email: Kindly be advised that a heavy load may have been app**** on the bag causing the clip to break. As per supplier this constitutes as user damage. Please see Targus policy forwarded by supplier attached. Unfortunately the return will be declined and shipped back to you. HELLO TAKEALOT, ITS A LAPTOP BAG AND NOT FILLED WITH BRICKS!

My response was the ffg:

Dear takealot. . .

I will not accept this response of owner misuse unless in writing from Targus themselves.

Secondly please explain how big a load do I need to place onto or in the bag to break the clip? I believe takealot is taking the easy way out here.

Lastly the bag has a 3 year warranty from the manufacturer. Both them and yourselves need to honor the warranty.

I will not accept the bag being returned to me without being replaced or refunded. I as a consumer have rights and takealot actions are prejudicial to me as a consumer.

Faith then rep**** on the 04/11/2016 with the ffg:

Hi Kishanth
Kindly be advised that we have communicated with supplier, awaiting for supplier formal written response. As soon as feedback is received we will revert back to you.
Kind Regards

Faith Nyawose

on the 07/11/2016 Faith updated me with the ffg email:

Hi Kishanth,
Kindly be advised that our suppliers are currently awaiting for a formal letter from Targus about your issue so we can forward to you.
Kind Regards,

Faith Nyawose

on the 08/11/2016 i received another update from Faith with the ffg:

Hi Kishanth,

Kindly be advised that supplier will send their response today.
Kind Regards,

Faith Nyawose

On 09/11/2016 i recived an email From Ashley Nagel who sent me a communication i couldnt understand?
