Takealot - taking alot from consumers! And are they selling used items?

I purchased a moon & stars comforter set from Takealot recently for my daughter Dakota. On receiving it I took the pillowcases out to photograph as it was not as the picture depicted. The fabric was hideous with an ugly pattern, the colour is off and the design on the pillowcases not the same as the image. I never even took the comforter out the bag as I knew I was going to return it right away. It took me 3 days to get Dakota to understand why I refused to keep it as it was not the same set depicted in the ad. On the fourth day I logged my return. It sat in the bag on my couch the whole four days. Takealot have now declined my refund request on the grounds that it was USED. Okay, vomits in mouth a little, WHO used it? And why did you sell it to me if it was used. 🤢I certainly did not use it, and how on earth do they decide something was used anyway? It was sent to me in the exact same condition it arrived in so I shiver at how they came to this assumption! Today they dropped it back at my house. How am I supposed to feel about this? I know for a fact I was sent a set that was very different to the ad that convinced me to buy it and I know for a fact I never even removed the comforter from the bag, so they are basically admitting to selling me a used item? Disgusting! I have supported them since they started as kalahari.net and this is how I am handled when THEY use images that do not even match the actual product. I wish I could include images for everyone to see. They simply don't want to refund me because they are having to refund hoards of people due to their ***** ways! I demand a full refund from this company or I will be doing a full story on them in my magazine! If you look on their facebook you will see post after post of disgruntled customers. Somebody needs to bring this to the media's attention! In my same order I ordered a cat on moon necklace, they sent me a sausage dog necklace. Taking big chances hoping the client will just overlook the sending of incorrect products. They didn't mind refunding this because it was cheap. You can see clear as day the comforter set is not the same as their ad, so they have to lie and say it has been used in the 4 days it sat on my couch! ********s!!
