Takealot taking a lot of time in collecting defective item

<p>I had previously logged a complaint about Takealot not collecting an item that I was returning. I had logged this request with them early next week and nothing has been done about collecting this item except for multiple emails with collection dates and times promised but with no fulfillment.</p> <p>I had logged a review on this website on Monday (28 Nov 2016 ) and a consultant from Takealot got back to me promising to collect the item on Wednesday (30 Nov 2016). However no one has come to collect the item so much for the promises from Takealot and their customer service.</p> <p>Hope this nightmare ends. it seems the only way to resolve this is to escalate this to the ombudsman.</p>
