Takealot Sucks, Big Time

I have been a user of Takealot’s Ereader app for a long time. It contained a cople of ebooks that were paid for. Late November 2022 I could not access theml from the app. Trying to fix it problem I uninstalled it, intending to reinstall it, thereby hoping to fix the access issue. I could not find the ereader app on Google Play when trying to reinstall it. I contacted Takealot and they told me they have discontinued the app and there is nothing they can do for me

My issue: I paid for these ebooks; they were not charity. How can they just arbitrarily decide to do away with the app as it contained paid-for reading material. Their contention that it must have been saved on the devise is nonsense as it is impossible to save ebooks outside the app
