Takealot stinks

I purchased a gas geseyr from Takealot, Zooltro. On the 4th odf December I returned it since the geyser suddenly just did not come on. I had followed the troubleshooting instructions in the manual that indicates the batteries should be replaced. Takealot then told me the guarantee was void due to tampering. When asked what tampering, they told me the batteries were taken out. First of all the product comes without batteries and needs batteries to ignite. Secondly the manual tells you to replace the batteries.

Sending emails is worthless as a diffent person replies every day on the same conversation. They sent the geyser back with promises that it was eacalated and they would collect it as soon as it has arrived back. Now they once again tell me they wont replace it

The guarantee has also now run out on the 16th. I have all the emails sent back and forth as well as photos of the instruction manual.
