Takealot *****s your gift cards

I received a gift card from work and decided to by myself a new computer mouse. I found one that looked okay and made the purchase partly funding it with the gift card. I received the mouse and it did not perform as I expected and requested to return it. Also requesting store credit instead of a refund because I was just going to buy another mouse. Item was collected and the credit I got did not include the amount from the gist card. Apparently they do not refund gift cards. Mine was only R100. Imagine you bought a TV with a R5000 gift card.
