Purchased a laptop from Takealot. After a short period, the charger malfunctioned. Tried to send in only the charger to be exchanged, as the laptop was fine, but they insisted that everything had to be sent in. I comp****, having initially specifically requested that only the charger be exchanged. I had installed Office 2013 Pro (an informed choice based on application need and the exorbitant price of later versions) on a one-off licence key. They ignored my request to exchange only the charger and replaced the laptop. THIS IS THEFT OF MY PAID FOR SOFTWARE. When I complained, they had the nerve to "advise" me to purchase Office, and also had the nerve to lecture me that it was not the latest version! Unbelievable inflexibility and arrogance.
