Takealot should be named Liealot
Takealot and the shocking client service.
For my birthday my girlfriend bought me a very nice PC. So I thought that I would return the favor and by her a PC for her birthday. The mistake I made was buying from takealot or should I say liealot. I bought 3 things from them and a three were in a damaged or secondhand condition. 1 a pc case that had a dent in. I was replaced. 2 a CPU that was delivered in a secondhand condition. 3 a pc case that had *****s missing. I received my CPU and when I opened the box the CPU box inside had previously been opened. That is right, they send me a second hand CPU. I phoned in and was told that they don't have the product in stock anymore. I explained that the item was on a deadline as it is for a birthday gift. I was told that I would be called back. I took note of whom o was talking to and when the calls were placed. I did this because in the span of one week I was told 7 times that I would be called back. And I was called back only once. I was given an upgrade to the i7 8700k because my girlfriend would get nothing for her birthday. The after waiting for another week I received a mail that the new CPU was also not in stock. I then also had to find out that the pc case that I bought from them is also out of stock. This is 2 week past my girlfriend birthday now I have no CPU I have no pc case. An I am still waiting to be called back. Liealot or sorry takealot is also still to phone me back today. I phoned again today on the 12/11/2018 And was told again that I would be called back. It is 4 hour later and still nothing. I gave spent more that R300 on airtime with operators that make it as difficult as possible for a client to reach a manager. I am still waiting for your call Liealot
Yours in disgust
