Takealot - Shocking and disappointed!

The website describes the product as "3 Blade 120cm Ceiling Fan With Remote - 52 Inch 3 blade 1 light ceiling fan with remote." The website eludes that the 3 blades of the fan is 120cm each - it does not say that this is a smaller fan with 3 blades of 120cm in total. I underwent surgery and was not able to install the product. Once back on my feet and having a closer look at the product, i realised it was the incorrect item. I returned the product and am now shocked that Takealot returned the product, which was still sealed and undamaged, and now has been unboxed by Takealot themselves. I fail to understand how the largest online retailer cannot simply resell a product which they already sell and credit the customer. I understand the policy for returns states that the above should have been done within 30 days after the oder, but surely at some stage human intervention is required and policy should be treated as a guideline and not rule.

I now sit with a product that was sealed, returned to takealot, opened by takealot and returned to the customer.
