Takealot sent me a damaged product and want to send it back to me.
Takealot sent me a damaged product (torn fabric), which broke even further when I used it for the first time - a connecting ***** flew out. I used the product for a few hours and then logged a return online. The response I've now received is that: "Unfortunately, we cannot accept your return request as there is visible user damage to the return item, which voids the warranty.", along with the rest of the returns policy.
I am not in breach of said policy and I am not taking this product back. Kindly consider your response. I have been a very loyal customer for a long time.

23 Mar 2025, 11:06Takealot have been doing their best to avoid accountability for this defective product. I received an email yesterday to say that my return request has been cancelled. Terrible service. this is not over.
