Takealot sends incorrect parcel
I ordered a Bluetooth gaming controller from take-a-lot that was supposed to be compatible with PS3, Android, PC and iOS which costed me R799. The controller is called LMA- Bluetooth Wireless Gaming Controller For PC, PS3, IOS, Android. See screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/SCxdd2t5RR5O
When I collected the parcel at the Plumstead pick-up point, I noticed that the box was small, but I took it home with me in any case. When I got home and unboxed the parcel, I found this Chinese branded Bluetooth controller called FO-618 Gamepro Wireless Controller PS3, iOS Android PC & TV Comp - Black
When I searched for the brand and model of the controller on Google, it returned a result that linked to the take a lot website where I found that the item I had in my possession only cost R299. See screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/NFMQicFmDX
I was shocked that take-a-lot could send me something which costs so much less than my actual purchase without even informing me. I returned the item immediately and requested that the correct item be sent to me, only to be told that they do not have any in stock.
To all those who are faithful take-a-lot purchasers, please beware to check everything that you get from take-a-lot. You might find that you are not getting what you ordered and when you research it you might find that it costs way less than your actual purchase.
Highly disappointed.
