TAKEALOT SELLS DEFECTIVE DEVICES!!!

I bought a phone from Takealot end November 2024 and 5 days ago (March 2025) my screen just went crazy. It had vertical lines on and started bouncing. Never ever has this happened to any of my past phones and especially after only 4 months. I logged a return and took it into Plumstead's branch (where mind you, the staff wasn't very friendly-not even a smile, neither helpful) Anyways, I received an Email yesterday saying they cannot help me because there's visible damage on the screen (which was just dust under the screen guard)

I'm so upset and actually think Takealot sells defective devices to the public. I wouldn't recommend Takealot for any device purchases.
