Takealot selling used or display kitchen appliances as new products

I bought an air fryer on their site and just before delivery I read a few reviews on the product. 2 or 3 reviews actually said that they received used air fryers (same brand and from Takealot) I thought...what's the odds? Turns out that it happened again!!! to me!! So I logged onto the Takealot site again to request a new unit to be delivered. @Takealot , if I wanted a used kitchen appliance, I would go to cash crusaders, buy one from OLX or even try my luck to bid on it at bid or buy. The thing is, I paid full amount for a NEW unit. if you told me that the unit is a display unit and boxed again I probably would be ok with it. But just assuming people will be stupid enough to take this up the backside shows you how out of touch the company really is with it's clients. So we'll see when the "new" new unit arrive if you learnt something from this. After this transaction complete, this will really be where my and Takealot paths split
