Takealot selling repackaged goods as new

To whom this may concern,

I am writing to express my absolute disgust with Takealot. I ordered the item (Order # ********** 4) as a gift for my father's 60th birthday. Upon him opening it this evening it was CLEARLY evident that the item had been used before and resembled something that was literally second hand and would be sold at a pawn shop - I can send photos in this regard. It had literally been repackaged by someone who had used it for a while and decided to return it. It was then subsequently resealed with a Takealot sticker and sold as new. I cannot express the embarrassment I felt upon my Father opening this tonight!! I have spent literally tens of thousands of Rands at Takealot over the years, using it on two separate accounts - one for personal use and one for business. I am completely appalled that Takealot would sell goods in this condition and call them "new"!! I demand a response from someone in senior management as this is really appalling.

Gravely disappointed and VERY reluctant to ever use Takealot again after this most embarrassing experience!!!
