Takealot schocking service

I'm truly disapointed in Takealot's service going forward will really just buy from Amazon. I orderderd computer speakers for my daughter who was visiting me for the past school holidays. I do not live with her and she had asked me for just this one gift as she had done so well in school. I ordered before the weather conditions started in CT (25 June)...it was a collection order as wanted to make sure i get it soon as possible.....the colection date passed with silence, which was the 4th. Next thing I get a message asking me to rate the collection point. Yet however if you I log in my Takealot account it gave a message that it is delayed due to weather conditions and that they will sms me. Yesterday I decided emailing them after giving it another week with no contact, I got a shocking reply from the agent showing no empathy or solution. They stated that it could have got lost, which is fine but now explain why the site says weather conditions and if lost what is the steps on resolving. This agent did not address any of that nor acknowledge that this was for a gift for my daughter. Was basically a cold reply leaving me hanging. My only option now is to share screenshots of this across social media and advise people to rather use Amazon
