Takealot same day deliver is a ****

Yesterday I bought an item from Takealot (order #***) and on the actual item listing, in bold, it reads: Get this item tomorrow!

So I opted for same day delivery only to be notified via SMS that the item would be delivered in two days. Still, I had to pay R75 delivery fee for same day delivery.

The thing that really gets met, is this is the 3d time it has happened, where I thought that Takealot would honor their great selling proposition of delivering my item on the same day, only to be notified that it would take 2 days.

Trying to call them is completely futile too, the phone just rings. It's for reasons like these that we need more Amazon-level competition in South Africa.
