TakeAlot sale products are faulty or damaged.

Take a lot sells faulty items as products on sale. They do not inform the buyer but they hope the customer will keep the product despite being damaged because it was bought on sale. A while ago a bought a damaged headboard from them, I only realized it was damaged weeks after I bought because I took time to unwrap it so I decided to keep it. The week before last, I bought a megamaster 3 foot portjie pot, which was on sale and when I received the product it was obviously damaged. I returned the pot with a view of an exchange but they are refusing to exchange because the are now selling the product with the original price, which is higher than the sale or discounted price. Their reasoning is the product is not longer available so they cannot exchange the product. Prior to reaching their decision, they asked me if I am willing to wait 10 to 21 days for the product to be returned to the manufacturer for repairs or would I be willing to be refunded? They were hoping I would choose a refund option but when I informed them that I am willing to wait, they came back with their retarded response that their product is not longer available and processed a credit on my account anyway.
