Purchased a Samsung Phantom Z Fold phone of R18299. Received an eye pencil and a peanut chocolate protein bar instead. Returned to the local depot. Spent hours on the phone afterwards from one "person" to the next receiving emails from about 8 different people only to end up with the following conclusion: Taylor.C (takealot.com)

OBVIOUSLY the returned item is not the incorrect item! You gave me an Essence eye pencil and a chocolate and kept my phone!

Surely packaging of items are done under supervision and surveillance????

No worries warranty? Where is the customer's safeguard???? You took nearly R20K from me and expect me to be happy with the return of a candy bar?????

And phoning Takealot is like trying to phone someone in space. Uninformed, obviously untrained staff have excellent skills in shifting the call by creating long periods of silence so that you think the call was dropped to promises of taking it further and phoning back with feedback in an hours time with of course with no result.
