Takealot ruins Xmas

I ordered well before cutoff date for delivery before Christmas. All items showed in stock and delivery date showed 23 December. On 21 December I received an email that 1 item is delayed and now delivery is only on 28 December. I ordered the items for Christmas! I contacted the customer service number and requested the item which was causing delays be removed and the rest ship for delivery before Christmas and was told it can not be done as the item is there and my order is already packed. I then asked for it to be delivered on time and was told there is nothing they can do,but my order will be at the closest hub to me by the afternoon. I then requested to collect my order from the hub and was told no as I selected delivery. I then requested the whole order be cancelled so that I can buy the presents somewhere else and again was told no. Today 22 December my order still show as being in the warehouse! This is pathetic customer service! I will never buy from takealot again!
