Takealot ******* delivery

Absolutely horrible delivery service ! I ordered puppy formula for my dogs. I needed it urgently so I paid for next day delivery. I worked from home so I wouldn't miss the package. At 11:13 i get an sms saying my order is out for delivery. An hour later I get another sms saying my delivery has to be rescheduled because No-one was there to take the order. 5 minutes after receiving the second sms, I call the hotline saying I am at home. No one has driven past or hooted and my dogs didn't bark. Where is the delivery??!! The guy on the line Chad, contacts the branch, calls and emails and no-one answers. I then tell Chad, if I haven't received a reply within an hour I would like to start the process of getting a refund. After two hours with no response I call again. Another guy picks up and tells me, drivers don't have airtime and therefore can't contact you if there isn't a response. And even though he just said drivers can't call I should make a note to leave my cellphone number which is already on my invoice when ordering online next time. The same number the delivery guy doesn't know and can't call but can send the reschedule sms to. I tell the guy on the line I would like to start the process of getting a refund for the delivery charge and he tells me it's not 17:00 yet so that can only be done when the day ends officially. I ask will the call center be open to log the process he says no because they also close at 17:00. So I have to sit and wait two hours to Not receive my package so that someone else tomorrow can help process the refund. This is why I won't be buying from takealot anymore. I'll stick to dischem and clicks for any similar supplies. At least the drivers actually come and also call if they can't get a hold of you. And most importantly delivery is the next day.
