Takealot Rip-off

Over the years I have purchased a number of ebooks from Takealot. I now want to download my books onto a new iPad, but the system won't allow me to. The message says "there is no token available". I have written to Takealot asking them to explain this to me, but I have received no explanation from Takealot. Effectively this means that when you purchase an ebook from Takealot you are not actually buying it, only renting it for a short while, which is a *******! It is far better to go and buy a hard copy of the book from a reputable book store as there is little difference in price, and then at least you have the book for life.
