Takealot rip-off....

I have been buying Catmor catfood from Takealot for a few months now. It has been a constant R130 per 4 kg bag. I bought 4 bags in October for R520. Now I see the same thing has gone from R130 per bag to R282 per bag!! At one point this week, it was into the R300+ mark. If they don't want to sell it then don't but do not inflate prices like that. I am totally switched off Takealot right now. It is more than a 100% increase in a month. I have priced at Checkers at R159 and Makro at R110 if you buy 4 bags. R282 is outrageous for a run of the mill catfood. eNCA had an article on Takealot this week advising the public to shop around because Takealot has inflated their discounts so as to be unbelievable. Please check around before you buy. I am extremely disappointed in them and I usually have an order on the go with them, but that is going to change.... they have lost the plot.
