Takealot return policy versus manufacturer warranty for a back pack?!!!

Have been attempting to return a faulty back pack now since 19 January which I received on the 6th of Jan which my son started using on 12 Jan when schools opened. I am being pushed from pillar to post. Quicksilver says take alot must refunds, Takealot says Quicksilver must refund as product has a warranty. I have written emails and have had NO RESPONSE whatsoever. Frankly, the merchant I bought the product from should refund me. Failing any feedback I will take this to the consumer commission.
