Takealot return policy... no communication system
I ordered and paid for 2 Coleman trailhead cot II stretchers and received it within 3 days. I opened it at home and the 1 had a tear on the seam along the side. I logged my return for damaged goods on the 13th of october and drop it off at the pick up point. By the 17th it was declined and the 19th of october the status of my return was concluded. No form of communication from takealot. From that day I struggled to find a number to get hold of a consultant. That was an almost impossible search. The lady at the pick up point gave me a number displayed on the bottom of the takealot return policy. I tried that number several times holding for up to 45min and nobody answer, never got to speak to someone. Finally send a mail to *** and the answer was always the same... they will follow up and let me know once they receive any feedback. I kept mailing to find out whats happening. Why was my return declined... when and where can I get my stretcher back and no answer. The last reply I got I was informed that it is packed and ready for fast and furious courier. That was more than a week ago. In the last couple of days I send 2 more mails to find out where my product is and Im being ignored. This service is pathetic. Easy and conveneint to order but no after sale service. Its like they *****ing a product that I have paid for. It's been 35 days and I'm going camping this weekend. All I want is my stretcher or my money back but no joy...
